The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has readied itself for the Festival Hue 2008, a biannual event of art, culture, and tourism scheduled to take place in the former imperial city from June 3 to 11, the organizer said.
The Hue Historical Relic Preservation Center has reopened the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum located in Hue one month after the museum was relocated to An Dinh Palace from Long An Palace.
Featuring carefully restored murals and relics, An Dinh Palace in the central city of Hue will be fully open to tourists for the Hue Festival this June.

The restoration of Long An Palace in Hue throughout April 2008 will see some precious relics from its Royal Fine Arts Museum relocated for temporary display at An Dinh Palace. The Long An Palace was built on the northern bank of the Ngu Ha River in 1845 under the reign of Thieu Tri King.
