Ba Ria Vung Tau to host world beauty contest

Ba Ria-Vung Tau – Southern coastal Ba Ria-Vung Tau province will next year host an international beauty pageant for married women, the local Culture and Information Department said on April 16.

Running for more than 30 years, Mrs World will throw a spotlight on the stunning landscapes, people and customs of Vietnam and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province during the 2009 beauty contest.

Mrs World Organisation President David Marmel said he has visited some sites and resorts in the province and filmed landscapes and local people in preparation for the event.
