Ba Ria - Vung Tau: Prepare for travel season on festival April 30 and May 01

According to travel agents in the province, the festival April 30 and May 01 of this year, prices of tours increase from 10 – 30% compared with normal days due to prices of services, accommodation, vehicle rental... highly increase.

However, the number of tourists registering for tours still highly goes up from 20 – 30% as compared with the same period of last year. Namely, until now, OSC Vietnam Travel has 400 tourists for domestic tours and 100 for foreign tours.

VTTours Travel Agent which belongs to Vungtau Tourist also reaches 400 domestic tourists, increased 100% compared with the same period of last year and about 50 tourists to foreign tours. The favourite destinations are Con Dao, Phan thiet Nha trang Da lat provinces of the West...

This year, VTTours Travel Agent opens some destination concentrating in provinces, cities of the Middle, Highlands like Nha Trang, Hoi an Phong Nha, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Buon Me Thuot...

Many travel agents do not receive excursionists any more for some tours like Hodeco Tours (Ba Ria – Vung Tau Housing Development Joint Stock Company) does not receive Nha Trang – Da Lat tour, OSC Vietnam Travel does not receive Con Dao tour due to “out of” Air tickets and rooms...

According to travel agents, it is remarkable that tourists have high requirements on rather high quality of services and expensive with every passing day compared to last year.
