From south to north in 18 days - Ben Thanh Tourist

Ben Thanh Tourist has added a new trans-Vietnam tour starting on Wednesdays, aiming to attract more individual tourists who have time for longer tours.
The 18 days and 17 nights tour runs from HCMC to the central and the north of the country by Car returning on plane, and includes visits to attractions in Phan thiet Nha trang Quy nhon Hoi an Hue Danang Quang Binh, Hanoi Quang Ninh, Ninh binh Lao cai

"Unlike the one day trans-Vietnam tours to areas such as the Mekong Delta, which focus primarily on Overseas Vietnamese and foreigners, this new tour offers more time for tourists to experience many of the beautiful sites of the country," said Cao Ngoc Minh, public relations executive of Ben Thanh Tourist.

She added that the new tour will appeal to elderly, retired people who have more time for travel and want to see more of the country.

The first day of the tour is quite a long day as it covers nearly 500 kilometers from HCMC to Nha Trang. However, from then or the days are easy, covering distances of approximately 200 kilometers. On the fourth day the route from Hoi An to Danang is only 30 kilometer each, so much of the day will be spent visiting tourist attractions in the ancient town of Hoi An and the central city of Danang.

The tour also includes a four night stop-over in the capital city of Hanoi to visit many attractions in the neighboring provinces, such as Tam Coc-Bich Dong in Ninh Binh Province, Huong Pagoda in Ha tay Province, Ha long bay in Quang Ninh Province, and Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province.

The package tour costs VND15.21mil or approximately US$1,000 per foreign tourist. For local tourists, the cost is reduced by VND2.7mil and tourists who prefer to arrange for their own meals will received a refund of VND1.65mil.
