Summer comes, more travelers flock to cooler Da Lat - Blue Moon

The hilly city of Da lat welcomed almost 219,000 visitors in the first three weeks of this month, increasing by 12% on the year-earlier period, according to Da Lat statistics.

The good news came in the beginning of summer, the high season for tourism.

Tour operators say travelers are flocking to the Central Highlands city as it is currently quite hot in southern Viet nam while pupils and high school students are taking summer holidays. It is believed that Da lat would receive more tourists in late this month.

So far this year, three more four-star hotels – Sammy, Blue Moon and Sai gon Da Lat – have inaugurated in the city of flowers, bringing more choices for travelers to Lam Dong Province, which is home to Da Lat.
