More tourists come to Can Tho

The Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta city of Can Tho saw a strong increase in the number of tourists in the first four months of 2008. The Can tho tourism Department said this was the result of the National Tourism Year held in the city in February of this year.

According to the city’s tourism authority, in the first four months of this year Can tho received 265,611 tourists, including 75,600 foreign visitors, a year-on-year increase of 37 per cent.
