Located in the north of Lan Gioi Commune, Tan Yen District, Bac Giang Province is Tan Thanh or Da Ong Lake, an attractive and interesting destination.
With 6.38 million cubic meters in a 10 sq.km basin, Da Ong Lake can meet drinking water demands from Tan Yen and Yen The Districts. In addition, it can provide irrigation to 835 hectares of agricultural land.
At the lake, tourists can leisurely walk around the lake, contemplate the charming and romantic beauty of this green lake lit by the sun, or watch children leading buffalos and the sun set.
Furthermore, visitors can go fishing and then taste their fresh catch.
With those who want to explore cultural-historical relics, Linh Thong Pagoda and The Temple, both built in the early 18th century, along with a more-than-300 year-old banyan tree, are ideal stops.
