The 2008 Do Son tourism festival opened at the Do Son tourist site, Hai phong city on April 30 with many diverse activities such as a culinary fair, sea tourism, a fireworks display, a parachute display, and a dragon boat race.
There will be unique performances during the six-day event
including a sport aircraft display, unicorn and dragon dances
performance, and a buffalo fighting festival, which began on May 1.
This is the third consecutive year that Do Son district has
incorporated the traditional buffalo fighting into the tourism
festival.
Chairman of Do Son district People’s Committee, Hoang Dinh
Binh said the 2008 Do Son tourism festival will be a chance for the
district to attract both investors and visitors.
