The budget Airline Air Asia, the biggest in Asia, has officially open two flight routes to Ho chi minh city from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Bangkok (Thailand).
There are two direct Flights
from Kuala Lumpur-Ho Chi Minh City a day and four flights from Bangkok to Ho Chi
Minh City weekly.
Air Asia has to date 11
direct flights a week to Ho chi minh city With 12 different flight fares, the
airline targets an increasing number of Vietnamese tourists.
According to statistics of
Malaysian and Thai tourism administrations, in 2007, Malaysia received more than
120,000 Vietnamese visitors while Thailand welcomed over 200,000.
Since Air Asia’s first
ticket was sold on March 12, more than 20,000 tickets to Ho Chi Minh City have
been sold to visitors.
