Ha tay - The northern Ha Tay province has completed restoration of Boi Khe Pagoda, one of the oldest wooden pagodas in the country.
Thirteen
architecture works, including gate, bell tower, corridors and stele house, were
repaired and upgraded under the 15 billion VND project funded by the Ministry of
Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Built during the Tran Dynasty dating back
to 13th-14th century, the pagoda (also known as Dai Bi Temple) houses many
valuable artifacts such as 58 statues of different sizes, two pottery lamps and
a statue of Quan Am (Avalokiteshvara) with 12 arms.
