Hanoi Days to be held in Moscow

Russian city Moscow will be treated to a week long showcase of all things Hanoi in July, which is hoped will enhance friendship and expand cooperation between the two capital cities.
 

The ‘Hanoi Days’ from July 16-23 will include diverse Vietnamese art and cultural activities, including a gala, a fashion show, a water puppet performance and a song and dance performance.

A photo exhibition entitled “Hanoi Development and Integration” will display 200 photos of Thang Long-Hanoi, documenting the city’s socio-economic achievements in the current renewal process and Vietnam ’s international integration.

A seminar promoting Hanoi-Moscow cooperation in investment, trade, tourism, education and science and technology will be held, along with a ground breaking ceremony for the Hanoi-Moscow Cultural and Trade Centre project.

A memorandum of understanding on promoting Hanoi-Moscow friendship and cooperation is expected to be signed at a meeting of the two cities’ leaders during the Hanoi Days.

The “Sapa Tourism Week” kicked off with a festival opened in the mist-shrouder Sapa in northern mountainous Lao cai province on April 30, which also aims to celebrate the 105th anniversary of Sapa tourism service.
