Ho Chi Minh Tour Festival 2008 gets underway

The Ho chi minh city tour Festival 2008 was officially launched at Dam Sen Water Park on April 18 with the aim of promoting the city’s image as a tourist destination.

The festival drew the participation of more than 100 businesses operating in tourism, aviation and entertainment services from 14 provinces and cities nationwide. These businesses spotlighted their tour products from 150 stands and offered discounts on this summer’s upcoming tours.

During the three-day festival, several cultural activities will also be held, including an event highlighting southern cuisine, a singing contest, a photo contest titled “Ho Chi Minh City – the Hidden Charm”, and a game show.
