“Antigone Vietnam”, a joint product of the Central Tuong Theatre and France’s Monte-Charge Theatre, presented in Hcm city at the Hue Festival 2008 and in Hanoi on June 17, will attend the Avignon Festival in France in July 2008.
Hue Festival 2008 features the participation of 70 programmes of 60 art troupes from 23 countries. This year’s festival has a very impressive opening featuring the theme World Heritage with Integration and Development.
The Hue Festival 2008 in central Thua Thien-Hue province by June 7 had welcome close to 56,000 visitors, including 13,200 foreigners.

Hue Restores Pottery Village for Festival The ancient pottery village of Phuoc Tich in Phong Hoa commune, Thua Thien-Hue Province will be renovated for Hue Festival 2008, which will take place from June 3 to June 11.
