The 5th International Sculpture Camp entitled “Hue-Vietnam 2008 Impression” opened in Thuan An town, Phu Vang district, central Thua Thien-Hue province on May 3.
The camp drew the participation of sculptors from many countries, including Britain, India, Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the US, Japan, Peru, France, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Australia and Vietnam
Assistants at the camp have shown their talent through stone and iron carving, which will then be displayed in a collection of the International Sculpture Garden on the bank of the Huong (Perfume) River in Hue
The four previous international camps with the same theme left 116 works in the garden.
