Conde Nast names InterContinental Hanoi Westlake on its 2008 Hot List
Conde Nast Traveler, one of the world’s most prestigious travel magazines, recognized the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake on its 2008 Hot List, the 12th annual compendium of the most compelling new hotels in the world.
The exclusive 2008 list names 136 hotels in 53 countries and
includes just one hotel in Vietnam – InterContinental Hanoi Westlake.
The magazine lauded the new hotel for its “sublime setting,”
its “stylish guest rooms,” and its five on-site restaurants and bars
that “will more than satisfy anyone too rushed to explore Hanoi’s rich
and diverse dining scene.”
According to Mr. Christian Pirodon, general manager of
InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, this accolade, from one of the most
respected travel magazines in the world, is a testament to the hotel’s
success.
The Hot List is an especially notable tribute because Conde
Nast’s surveyors judged thousands of hotels and spas around the globe,
checking in undercover at each to experience the hotel’s accommodation,
services and ambiance.
The 359-unit InterContinental Hanoi Westlake opened in Dec
2007 and immediately established itself as a singular Hanoi option.
Located 10 minutes from the heart of Hanoi, the waterfront hotel evokes
a resort-like ambiance with its torch-lit Venetian promenades and
hard-to-find spaciousness in Vietnam’s bustling capital.
