International Sculpture Camp opens in Hue

Nhan Dan- "Impression of HueVietnam 2008” is the theme of the fifth International Sculpture Camp which was opened on May 3 in Tuan An town, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien- Hue province.
The camp has the participation of 25 sculptors from 13 countries, including the UK, India, Austria, Belgium, Germany  the Republic of Korea, the US, Japan, Peru, France, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Australia and Vietnam

Works at the camp which are mostly made from stone and steel will be placed along the Huong river bank together with other sculptures of the international sculpture garden.

Earlier, 116 works from four previous international sculpture camps have made up an impressive sculptural garden along the Huong river bank.
