International travel exhibition scheduled for September

Hundreds of travel agencies across the world are expected to take part in the International Travel Exhibition-2008 scheduled to open in HCMC from September 12-14.

It is the fourth of its kind so far and the biggest annual travel event in Vietnam Its largely-ranging agenda includes an Asia-Europe forum on tourism, a symposium on investment and development of tourism, a friendly golf competition and a tourist fair.
The exhibition will focus on tri-national tours between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia themed “Three countries-a destination.”

Some 150 international travel agencies and 250 tourism executives from 45 countries and territories have registered to take part in the event.
