New tour tracing Ly Thai To’s capital movement process launched

A waterborne tour from Hoa lu old capital in Ninh binh to Chuong Duong wharf in Hanoi and vice versa is to be launched in September by Red River Tourism Development and Investment Firm.
 

 

The tour has consulted some scientists and experienced guides who have snaked every corner of the Red River since the war against the American imperialists.

The firm’s director Le Thang said a lot of overseas Vietnamese and local youth wish to book tours that take them from old capital Hoa Lu to Dai La (now Hanoi), named during Ly Thai To’s dynasty.

The firm plans to launch two tours: Return to Hoa Lu lasting two days and one night, departing Chuong Duong wharf (Hanoi) to Ninh Phuc port, applied from April to September, or to Non Nuoc-Ninh Binh port (applied from January to March and October to December). In Ninh Binh, tourists will visit Phat Diem Stone Church Ninh binh city Bai Dinh tourist site, Hoa Lu old capital, Temples of Dinh and Le dynasties and enjoy Ninh Binh’s traditional opera and goat meat, a typical dish in Ninh Binh. This package tour costs VND 950,000 per person.

With the three-day and two-night tour, costing VND 1.2 million, tourists will visit Hien town in Hung Yen, take a night rest in Nam Dinh and then tour Temple for Tran dynasties before reaching Ninh Binh.

On board, tourists will be introduced to the process of capital movement initiated by King Ly Thai To.
