Final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 to take place on July 14

Central Khanh Hoa province’s People’s Committee and the organising board of Miss Universe 2008 discussed preparations for the event at a meeting on April 14.

The pageant is expected to run from June 17 to July 14, 2008. A big main stage was erected at the Song Lo Entertainment and Tourism Resort, which can house around 7,000 people. Workers are putting final touches to the project to be completed by late May.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Xuan Than has directed relevant agencies to make necessary preparations for the event, including on power supply, transportation, tourism infrastructure, communications, and security to ensure the success of the contest.

The final night of Miss Universe 2008 pageant will take place at 9 am on July 14 in Nha trang city Khanh Hoa province with the participation of more than 80 beauty queens from countries worldwide.
