Khanh Hoa completes preparations for Miss Universe Vietnam 2008

The Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee has held a conference to review the preparatory work for the Miss Universe Vietnam beauty contest and the final round of the Miss Tourism Vienam 2008 in the central region.
As planned, the semi-final and final rounds of the Miss Universe Vietnam will be held at Vinpearland resort in central Nha trang city from May 24-31 to select one representative for Vietnam at the Miss Universe World. Nha Trang city will also host the final round of the Miss Tourism Vienam 2008 on June 14.

Recently, the organising board of the Miss Universe World held a seminar to discuss plan to organise the event, as well as its stage decorations and design. The designed stage will be erected on an area of about 1,000 sq.m and decorated by lanterns, bamboo trees and bronze drums and symbols of Thap Rua (Tortoise Tower), Khue Van Cac (Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature) and Ha long bay
