Mrs World 2009 to be held in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

On April 16th, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province agreed with the Organization Board of the Mrs World Contest to host the contest 2009.

The provincial Department of Culture and Information will make a specific plan to work with the organizing board in the future.

The contest aims to honour modern women who excel in both their work and in domestic life, expressing social recognition of the lifestyle, charming beauty and intelligence of modern women.

Mrs World contests were held successfully in many countries over the past 30 years, such as Australia, the US and Russia.

On this occasion, David Z Marmel, President of Mrs World Organization, visited famous places, high-ranking hotels, resorts, and filmed the beautiful scenery, cultures and customs of people in the province to provide a background for the 2009 contest location and to popularize the people, scenery and beauty of the province and Vietnam in general to international friends.
