“Nha Trang rendezvous 2008” supports poor families - Nha Trang Tourism

The Chief of the executive board of the US Rass Trading Corp., Hoang Kieu, donated over VND7 billion to a charity fund to help poor families in the south central province of Khanh Hoa and other localities as part of a special concert.

The Nha Trang tourism and culture festival in Khanh Hoa province opened with the “Nha Trang rendezvous 2008” – “Rass – words of love” musical performance on April 17 in Nha Trang’s 2/4 square.

Former Deputy President Truong My Hoa, representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam Study Promotion Association and provincial leaders attended the event.

The performance was a combination of the traditional and modern. While the original festival brought audiences back to the ancient cultural life of Nha trang – Khanh Hoa, pop songs and fashion shows portrayed a modern life that is taking shape in the city.
