Phong Nha Ke Bang festival
Phong Nha-Ke Bang festival to open
one-day festival celebrating the fifth anniversary of Phong Nha-Ke Bang, a World Natural Heritage recognised by UNESCO, will be held in the evening on July 26 in Son Trach commune, Quang Binh province.
There will be fireworks and lanterns on the Son River at the opening ceremony. Other programmes such as the Nghe temple festival of Son Trach’s ethnic community, local cuisine and speciality fair held before and after the opening ceremony are main attractions.
The festival is a cultural activity to promote the images of Phong Nha-Ke Bang among both domestic and international tourists.
