Agencies promote local wanderlust - Phu Quoc Island

based travel agencies have launched summer promotions to attract local tourists during summer holidays. Phu quoc Island is one of the main destinations.


Most visitors to Phu quoc are taken to Tranh Spring and fish sauce production lines on the island. Holiday-makers are also guided to catch fish and cuttlefish at night, and dive to look at coral reefs.

Fiditour has launched a three-day, two-night tour to the island, costing VND2.23 million (US$140) per person, exclusive of Air ticket. The tour operator said the price is 30 per cent lower compared with the peak season. Viettravel has introduced a tour to the island with a price of VND3.7 to 3.9 million per person.
