Posters on President Ho Chi Minh on display

An exhibition of posters on President Ho chi minh was opened today in Hanoi to mark his 118th birthday (May 19, 1890).
The exhibition introduces 38 posters of 38 artists, selected from 62 entries by 41 artists of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association. These are works created during a poster creation camp launched by the association from April 4 to May 4.

With graphic art, paintings by Nguyen Thanh Hai, Nguyen Van Than and Nghiem Xuan Quang highlight President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology in patriotism movement while Trinh Quoc Thu, Nguyen Cong Quang, Hoang Thuy Lieu and Do Viet Tuan praise the moral example of President Ho. Other paintings by Nguyen Gia Binh, Nguyen Dang Dung and Do Nhu Diem feature Uncle Ho’s love to children.      

The exhibition, organised by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, runs until June 1 at Gallery 16 Ngo Quyen street.
