Archaeologists have unearthed several stone tools and teeth thought to belong to pre-historic people inside caves in the central province of Quang Binh.
The
discovery included three stone axes, all with isosceles shoulders and
blades as large as between 4 and 5 cm, typical to the Hoa binh culture.
Archaeologists also found several teeth in the Chua cave that are thought to belong to ancient people.
These
latest finds have strengthened the presumption that the Quang Binh
province caves were the residence of human beings during the Hoa Binh
culture between 8,000 and 10,000 years ago.
