Martyrs for archipelagoes during Nguyen Dynasty commemorated - Quang Ngai Tour Guide

Quang ngai – A ceremony was held in Ly Son island district, central Quang Ngai province, on April 20 to commemorate soldiers who laid down their lives to protect Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes during the Nguyen Dynasty.


The activity, held annually by inhabitants on the Ly Son island, includes a requiem for the martyrs, a night festival to refloat flower garlands and coloured lanterns, animal releases, rocket firing and boat race.

A cultural week will be held on this occasion to educate patriotic tradition to local young generations and introduce tourism potential of Ly Son district and Quang ngai province as a whole

The ecosystem of Tram Chim National Park has been restored. This resulted in the appearance of 98 cranes since the beginning of this year.
