Signing for Mrs. World Pageant to be Held at Rex Hotel

The signing ceremony of the Mrs. World Pageant 2009 to take place in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau will be held at Rex Hotel in Ho chi minh city Tuesday evening.

The event will be attended by David Z. Marmel, chairman of the Mrs. World Organization, Mrs Wolrd 2007 Diane Tucker from the U.S and the first runner-up of Mrs. World Pageant 2008 Coleen Francisca Mason of Singapore.

Mrs. World Pageant is for all married women, young wives and mothers. It has been held since 1977. The contest aims to honor successful women who have made outstanding contributions in their family and society.

More than 100 beautiful women will gather at Vung Tau city to participate Mrs. World Pageant 2009 in November.

The provincial People’s Committee will take the prime responsibility and coordinate with the Ministries of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Foreign Affairs, Public Security, related authorities and the CIAT Advertising and Trade Fair Joint Stock Co. in ensuring safety and success of the event.

Former Miss Viet nam Nguyen Dieu Hoa vied with married women from all over the world in the Mrs. World pageant 2008 held June 14-29 in Russia.
