More trains for students and tourists - Saigon and Hanoi Railway

Saigon and Hanoi Railway Companies will run more Trains and increase the frequency of trips from Saigon-Nha Trang, Sai Gon-Phan Thiet and from Hanoi to tourist sites to serve students during the university entrance exams and to serve the summer holidays.
 

The Saigon Railway Company will put into operation one more pair of Trains on the Saigon-Nha Trang route as of July 2 and it will offer daily trips on the Saigon-Phan Thiet route from June 23 to July 20.

 

SN4 train will depart Saigon on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 9pm and arrive in Nha Trang at 7.50am the next day. SN3 train will depart Nha Trang on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6.55pm and arrive in Saigon at 7.20am the next day.

 

Tickets will be delivered free for passengers in inner HCM City and Nha trang city through phone number 8436528.

 

Meanwhile, the Hanoi Railway Company is about to run more trains from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue and Lao cai to serve tourists.

 

There will be a pair of trains for the Hanoi-Vinh route, which depart at 9pm everyday and one more pair at the weekend. As of June 19, the Hanoi-Thanh Hoa route will also have a pair of trains, departing Hanoi at 6.10am and arriving in Thanh Hoa at 10am.

 

The Hanoi-Hue route has had a pair of trains since late May 2008, which depart Hanoi at 7.20pm and Hue at 2.20pm.

 

The Hanoi-Lao Cai line has five daily pairs of trains and one more at the weekend. However, this route still lacks luxurious carriages.
