Travel Operators and Hotels Voted Top Ten

Ten leading Vietnamese hotels and travel companies with most number of international tourists were presented with the Top Ten prize by the Viet nam Tourism Department and the Viet nam Tourism Association on Sunday.


The Top Ten list includes Saigon Tourist, Exotissimo Cesais, Apex Vietnam Ha Noi-based Viet Nam Tourism Company, Ho Guom -Diethelm, Ben Thanh Tourist, Fidituorist, Peace Tours, Huong Giang Company and Asia-Eastern Tourist.

Most of leading hotels are located in Ho chi minh city and Ha noi Four Hotels in ha noi awarded Top Ten Prize are Melia, Sofitel Plaza, Nikko Hotel and Sofitel Motropole. Ho Chi Minh City has five hotels in the top ten list including Caravelle   Rex hotel Majestic hotel First Hotel and Grand hotel The last one in the list is Ana Madara Nha trang of coastline central province of Khanh Hoa.

The title “Hotel with most impressive service “ was granted to Yasaka Saigon-Nhatrang Resort and Spa. The title "The Most Prestigious Travel Enterprise" belongs to Ho Chi Minh City-based Travel –Service Center Sasco. The two titles were selected directly by tourists  at the website address: www.vietnamtourism.com.vn.

More than one million foreigners came to Ho Chi Minh City in the first four months of 2008, a year-on-year increase of 18 percent, according to the city’s tourism department.

In consequence, the local tourist industry raked in VND9,315 billion in the period, a year-on-year increase of 25 percent.
