Vietnam’s largest travel information portal launched

VNPT E-travel, a subsidiary of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, has launched a website at http://e-travel.vn to provide foreign tourists with information about cultural products, tourism services, festivals and beauty spots in Vietnam.

The new website, both interesting and easy to access, is expected to promote Vietnam’s image worldwide and also to assist Vietnamese tourism businesses, especially in accommodation services.

Hoang Thi Bich Ngoc, Director General of VNPT E-travel, said that this is the only website so far that provides tourism service packages online.

At the ceremony to announce the new website, VNPT E-travel also struck a deal with the prestigious tourism group, Connect2Golf, to become its exclusive representative and travel service provider in Vietnam Laos and Cambodia.
