Vietnam - International sculpture camp to be held

The fifth sculptural camp entitled “Impression on Hue and Vietnam 2008” will be held from May 1 to June 5 at the Abalone resort & spa tourist area in Thuan An town, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province.

So far, 19 sculptors from the UK, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the US, Japan, Peru, France, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Australia and Italy and eight Vietnamese artists have registered for the forthcoming camp.

During the event, artists can visit famous tourist sites and enjoy traditional folk songs in the province. These activities are expected to create inspiration for these sculptors to create works. They also have a chance to visit tourist sites in Quang Nam and Danang provinces.

All works made by these artists will be displayed at the International Sculpture Garden in Hue city
