This is the total budget of the Vietnam tourist human resource development project sponsored by European Union, of which European Union supports 10.8 million and the counterpart capital of Vietnam is 1.2 million to obtain such set targets as improving human resource quality and standard in the tourist industry, contributing to assisting the Government and businesses in maintaining quantity and quality of the tourist human resources after the project has been completed.
In the project frame, on 7th and 8th April 2008,
the Management Board of the Vietnam tourist human resource development
project held a seminar to introduce three European markets: France,
Belgium, Holland and Northern Europe. Attending the seminar also has
over 150 representatives from Travel Companies in Hanoi and
international experts from Asia and Europe.
This
seminar is to assist tourist enterprises in updating information,
mastering tourists’ taste and learn international experts’ experience
on approaching method and marketing promotion. In addition, the seminar
also helps to enhance the competitive ability of Vietnam tourism in
these markets.
As planned, the seminar on this problem is held in Da nang on 10th – 11th April 2008 and in Ho chi minh city on 14th – 15th April 2008 respectively.
