Twenty colourful oil paintings by artist Le Thanh Son are on display at a five-day exhibition that opened in Tokyo , Japan , on April 13.
This
is the first time Son has exhibited his paintings in Japan . The
Vietnamese artist had his paintings displayed in Dubai last year and in
London in 2006.
The exhibition, entitled “A brilliant life”,
brings to Japanese art lovers the beautiful landscapes in Vietnam ’s
countryside and the life of ethnic people in the country’s mountainous
regions.
Proceeds from the sale of paintings at the exhibition
will be donated to charitable activities such as Tokyo English
Lifeline, Second Harvest Japan , Hands on Tokyo and Room to Read.
