Meritorious Artist Hong Van, director of Phu Nhuan Stage in Ho chi minh city is planning to introduce Vietnamese plays in English to foreigners.
The plots
are mainly based on folk topics depicting Vietnamese customs and habits in
different parts of the country. Each 20-30-minute-long play is designed to help
foreigners living in Vietnam understand more about its
society and people.
The first
two plays to go on stage are known as “Person or horse” and “A
basket”.
According to
Ms Hong Van, Ho Chi Minh
City’s Culture and Information Department is working with
Saigontourist Company to work with Phu Nhuan Theatre for the
activity.
