Three destroyers of the Japanese Navy with 566 officers and crewmembers on board anchored at Ho chi minh City’s port on March 3 for a friendship visit.
During their five-day visit, the Japanese guests will lay a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh’s monument, pay a courtesy visit to leaders of the city People’s Committee and the Commands of the Military Zone 7 and the Navy.
They will also play friendly volleyball matches with students of the Viet nam Naval Technical College and go on a sight seeing tour.
