Vietnam to attend world performing arts festival

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam will attend the 16 th World Congress and Performing Arts Festival for Young People (ASSITEJ 2008) slated for Adelaide , Australia , from May 9-18.
The Vietnamese delegation to the ASSITEJ 2008 will be lead by famous director Le Hung, who is also Director of the Youth Theatre and President of the Vietnam ASSITEJ.

This year’s congress will draw the participation of more than 300 stage activists, directors and screenplay writers and almost 500 actors and actresses from more than 80 member countries.

Twenty-five plays will be shown at nine theatres throughout Adelaide , along with forums and stage special workshops.
