Exploiting the potential of sea and island toursim in Binh Thuan

Located in the coastal area in the South central region, Binh Thuan has an important geological advantage to develop the economics, especially sea and island tourism.

Apart from Mui Ne beach with its resorts, Binh Thuan is promoting to develop sea and island tourism.

In response to the year of national tourism in South central region 2011, from the beginning of this year, Binh Thuan has made the ceaseless effort to spread the sea and island tourism to many countries all over the world. This type of tourism is exploited more and more effectively. Not only the development of sea and island tourism helps enrich tourism products but it also promotes the economics and tourism development of the island in Binh Thuan.

Due to the right investment, The number of tourists joining in this type of travel has increased dramatically in comparison with the year 2010. According to the statistics of the South East Tourim Team, the amount of visitors has grown to 26% more than 2010. Therefore, it ranks second after Ba Ria - Vung Tau and achieves the highest avenue in the Southeast region of Vietnam.


Along with exploiting the potential of sea tourism, Binh Thuan also develops island tourism. To attract the tourists, Binh Than has built alot of tourism types such as sea tourism with sport, island exploration, spirit... Furthermore, the combined tours such as Phan Thiet - Phu Quy island, Co Thach pogida - Cu Lao Cau, Tam Tan sea - Hon Ba, Mui Ne...have attracted the large amount of tourists. This combination have also made a variety of tourism products for tourists when visiting Binh Thuan.
Frequent tours to Phu Quy island is becoming more and more popular these days. In addition, this summer is considered as a good start for exploiting and developing the strength of sea and island tourism in Phu quy. Apart from various vegetation and corals Phu Quy also has many attractive intact beaches such as Trieu Duong bay, Doi Dua beach, Ganh  Gang beach, Mo Thay Nai beach.
