Vietnam welcomes nearly 1.7m int’l visitors

The Tourism Administration reports that Vietnam has so far this year welcomed nearly 1.7 million foreign tourists, a year-on-year increase of 16.1 percent.

The figure represents 33.9 percent of the country’s yearly target of hosting 5 million international holidaymakers.

The agency announced it is poised to receive delegates of the United Nations Days of Vesak slated for May 13-17 in Hanoi
