As other categories of visas, rather than citizens of countries having name in the list of bilateral consular agreements with our country, all citizens must have Vietnamese entry visa. In particular, foreigners are citizens of these below countries who can visit Vietnam without an entry visa.

Thirdly, Citizens of France holding valid diplomatic or official passports don’t require Vietnam entry visa (no more than 3 months or several visits within 6 months).
Fourthly, Vietnamese overseas if holding Vietnam Visa Exemption certificate doesn’t require Vietnam entry visa (no more than 3 months).
One noticeable thing is that every citizen in every country can apply for this category of visa at Embassy of Vietnam in their own country by mail or in person. The fees and requirements are regularly adjusted; therefore visitors can contact the Embassy by mail or telephone for related fee information (and there are various in the way of payment for every citizens such as cash or guaranteed Cheque, postal order or banker’s draft).
