Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has organized to research about a number of hotels about the ability of applying the system Bong Sen in the system of Vietnam Hotel, and finishing the criteria of Green Lotus; surveying, planning, and orienting about the development of Vietnam’s accommodation in 2020, up to 2030.
According to the statistics of the national management, it shows on June 2011, there were about 12,000 accommodation with 235,000 rooms in which a number of hotels are ranked from 3 to 5 stars account for about 2%, rooms accounts for 19%
In particular, the whole country have 48 hotels of 5 star standard hotels with 12,056 rooms; 110 hotels of 4-star standard with 13,943 rooms; 235 hotel of 3 star standard with 16,353 rooms.
